Mrs. Frances R. Story Preer, 80 of Manhattan, NY, formally of LaFayette, AL, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at The Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, NY.

Public Visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. CST until 6:00 p.m. CST, at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Graveside Services will be Sunday, August 7, 2022, 1:00 p.m. CST, at Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Overseer Calvin Daniel, Officiating.

Mrs. Preer leaves to cherish her loving and fond memories her husband, Daniel Pearson of Bronx, NY; her son, Marvin Preer of Manhattan, NY; four granddaughters whom she loved dearly, Amesha and Namon Story of Manhattan, NY, Shayla S. Humphrey (Tarrell) of Waterbury, CT, and Marvalyn Preer of Ellenwood, GA; four great-grandchildren, Namel, Kaiden, Sophia, and Zy’Aire; brothers, Mr. Willie James Story of Lithonia, GA and Mr. Clifford (Lerae) Story of LaFayette, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
