Mrs. Gennell Barrow Hamlin

Mrs. Gennell Hamlin, 84 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, 2:00 PM CST at Powell Chapel United Methodist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Kelsey Barnes, Officiating.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette.

Mrs. Hamlin is survived by her children, Tina (Larry) Meadows, George Stanley Hamlin, III, Teressa (Johnny) Hamlin, and Anthony Jones, all of LaFayette, AL, her sister, Eddie Mae Brown of LaFayette, AL, her grandchildren, Erica Meadows, Brittney Hamlin, Jaden Hamlin, and Karl (Madea) Akins, all of LaFayette, AL, eight great-grandchildren,  a host of other relatives and friends.
