Mrs. Hilda Mae Barnes

Mrs. Hilda Mae Barnes, 66 of Lanett, AL passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Tanner Medical Center in Wedowee, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, 12:00 pm EST at First Pentecostal Church in Lanett, AL, Pastor Gary McNeily, Officiting. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by two devoted daughters, Tonya Gibson of Lanett, AL, and Trevonda Gibson of Atlanta, GA, one son, Tynell Gibson of Atlanta, GA, three sisters, Glinda Barnes, Della (Charles) Copeland, and Zelda (Napoleon) Patterson, all of Valley, AL, eight brothers: Clarence (Lashieka) Barnes, Tony Barnes, Bernard Barnes, Donald Barnes, Freddy Barnes, Arthur Barnes, Terry Barnes, and Michael Barnes, all of Lanett, AL, and Larry Barnes of Atlanta, GA, her grandkids, whom meant the world to her, two devoted granddaughters, Tanisha Kellogg, and Tynekia Gilstrap, both of Atlanta, two grandsons, Anthony Gibson, Sr. of Lanett, AL, and Emoniee Loyd of LaGrange, GA, four great-grandchildren, Khalani Gibson of Lanett, AL, Kailey Brogbon and Arii Howard, both of Atlanta, GA, and Anthony Gibson, Jr. of Cusseta, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
