Mrs. Irene Johnson, 99 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mrs. Johnson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, 11:00 AM CST at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke, AL (Welch Community), Rev. Calvin Trammell, Pastor | Officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Irene leaves cherished memories with her sons, Leon Staples of Roanoke, AL, Gilbert Staples (Geraldine) of Roanoke, AL, Randy Staples of Montgomery, AL and Sanford Johnson of Rienzi, MS, her daughters, Gwendolyn Childs of Roanoke, AL, Debra Oliver (George) of Lawrenceville, GA, Janice McCoy of Lanett, AL, Ernestine Johnson of Roanoke, AL, and Alesia Cooley (Quintin) of  Wedowee, AL, stepdaughter, Angela Johnson Fullwood of Rochester, New York, sisters, Evelyn Berry of Five, AL, Katie Ruth Carter of Atlanta, GA and Bernice Allan of Freedonia, AL, one aunt, Julie Ruth Barsh of LaGrange, GA, sisters-in-law, Barbara Pearson Evans (Ordie) of Gadsden, AL, Della Pearson Gates (George) of Columbus, GA, Priscilla Holley of Opelika, AL and Frances Appleby, Long Beach, CA, special family members, Christine Blake, Derrick Mignott, Leonard Holliday, (37) grandchildren,
