Mrs. Lottie Mae Dunn Floyd, 81 of Valley, AL passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at East Alabama Medical Center in Valley, AL.
Public visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. EST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette, AL and St. Stephens CME Church, 2427 Columbus Rd, Valley, AL from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. EST.
Mrs. Floyd will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. EST at Burrell Chapel AME Church 638 Lee Rd 276, Cusseta, AL with Rev. Wayne Baker, Officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Valley, AL.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by her husband, David Lee Floyd Sr, Valley, AL; two loving daughters; Betty (Cleveland) King, Valley, AL and Stephanie Floyd, Valley, AL; eight grandchildren; Monique (Marcus) Fuller, Opelika, AL, Markedrick Floyd, Bronx, NY, Tiffany Floyd, Jonesboro, GA, Brandon Lee, Louisville, KY, Kamira Floyd, West Point, GA, Khadijah Floyd, Lanett, AL, Lakendra Floyd, West Point, GA, and India Floyd, Auburn, AL; nine great-grandchildren; Micah Fuller, Olivia Huguley, Omari Jackson, Onyx Floyd, La’Xayden Phillips, Aubree Trammell, Ava Trammell, A’Laiya Trammell and Jamarco Trammell; five brothers; Phillip Summers, Cusseta, AL, Paul Dunn, Columbus, GA, Eddie Joe Dunn and Johnny Lee Dunn, Cusseta, AL, and Johnny Winfield, Columbus, GA; one sister, Ruby Parson, Austin, TX; two sisters-in-law; Ida Floyd, Chicago, IL and Edith Coleman, Birmingham, AL; godson, Steven Finch, Opelika, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
