Mrs. Louie Mae Hughley

Mrs. Louie Mae Hughley, 105 of Detroit, MI (formerly of LaFayette, AL) passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at her residence.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020, 1:00 p.m. CST at The Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Gary Fanning; Officiating.

Mrs. Hughley leaves to cherish her memory two devoted sons: James Jr. (Reatha), and Charles Sr. (Deloris),  four grandchildren: Nichelle (Willie) Mayberry of Atlanta, GA; Charles Jr. (Monica) of Charlotte, NC; Lanika of Detroit and Cartrell, who was his grandmother’s caregiver, four great grandchildren: Charles III, Jalen, Patrice, and Leigh, one great great granddaughter: Zoe, A host of devoted and loving nieces and nephews: Patti Jean Hughes, Charles Brock, Faye Brock, Carolyn James, Walter (Zelma) Brock, Diane (Bill) Curran, Jakki (Len) Haussler, Spring Galloway, Joyce Robinson, Anise Harris, Linda Brock Clay, Sandra Brock Steward, first cousin: Annie Pearl (Finley) Lytle and many great-nieces and nephews, many other relatives, and friends and her church family.
