Mrs. Margie Owensby, 72 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, 11:00 AM CST at St. Paul Baptist Church, Roanoke, AL, Reverend Jeffery Rosser, Pastor; Reverend Calvin Trammell, Officiating; Reverend Terry Magby, Eulogist.

Margie leaves to cherish her precious memories, her devoted husband: Albert Owensby of Roanoke, AL; three children: Luther McCray and Kenya Owensby (Artis) of Roanoke, AL and Towanna Zachery (Nick) of Lagrange, GA.; a stepson: Fronanda Strickland (Mekissa) of Lagrange, GA.; four brothers: Thomas McCray (Liz) of Roanoke, AL, Billy Joe McCray (Ann), Terry Zachery, Jeffery McCray, and Richard Hardeman all of Atlanta, GA; her step mother: Nettie McCray of Atlanta, GA; Fifteen grandchildren: Reginald, Kianna, Martavious, Rashad, Destiny, Ariana, Cannon, India, Trae, Paige, Raven, Lutravian, Keirra, Frananda, and Mesiah; nine great- grandchildren: Kaiser, Morgan, K’hole, Kinsley, Cambree, Jordan, Kassidy, Kinsley A. and Skylar. A special friend who was more like her sister, Mary Jane Person, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
