Mrs. Mary Frances Avery, 86 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at her home.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, 2:00 p.m. CST at Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Gary L. Dixon; Officiating.

Mrs. Avery leaves to cherish her memories to her children, Hayes (Dorothy) Avery, Jr., David (Ruby) Avery and Doris (Jerry) Avery, all of LaFayette, AL, her sister, Ann (Richard) Lightfoot of Atlanta, GA, her brother, Edward (Connie) Williams of Douglasville, GA, her goddaughter, Khisawanna D. Holloway of Atlanta, GA, two sisters-in-law, Josephine Avery and Shirley Hughley, both of LaFayette, AL, two brothers-in-law, Jack Avery and Buster Avery, both of LaFayette, AL, thirteen grandchildren: Tiffany (Demetrius) Harrington, Tammy Avery, Lee Avery, Tywanna Avery, Tommy (Jackie) Avery, Stephanie Jackson, Ebony Mitchell, Valencia Avery, Lisa Williams, Shawn (Chanika) Hodge, Jessie Swint, David Swint and Cherl Smith, 19 great grandchildren  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
