Mrs. Pearlie Mae Webster Gibson, 89 of Valley, AL passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM EST at St. Stephens C.M.E. Church in Valley, AL.
Mrs. Gibson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, 1:00 PM EST at St. Stephens C.M.E. Church in Valley, AL, Reverend Larry Threatts, Pastor | Officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Valley, AL.
Mrs. Gibson leaves cherished memories with her children: Isacinta Gibson, Dr. Jatunn Gibson, Narfunda (Rodney) Gibson Ross, and Devone Gibson. Her second generation of children: Jaquez Gibson, Jaelin Ross, Jaren Ross, Ava McKinleigh Smith and Joi (Steve) Lee Rhodes. Her only living sibling who called her frequently and visited with her, Louida W. LeGare. A brother-n-law and sister-n-law who made sure that she was well, Richard (Emma) Gibson. A niece that spent most summers with OUR PEARL and her children, Jacobie (Tymiakal, Sr.) Howell. The family is extensive, and she loved all her nieces and nephews. Her PEARL-fect Caretaker, who loved her dearly and didn’t play about Mama Pearl, Vernita Thompson. The PEARL-fect neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Phyalon and Patricia Hatfield. OUR PEARL didn’t drive, but she has drivers who made sure that she was always on the scene, Elizabeth Sherrell, Karen “Baby Sister” Madden, Aunt Emma Gibson, and Mershilia Heard.
