Mrs. Rosa Lee Tanner Calloway

Mrs. Rosa Lee Tanner Calloway, 87 of Camp Hill, AL passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mrs. Calloway will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, 12:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Lovely Missionary Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Rev. Dr. Bernard Harris, Pastor / Officiant.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Calloway leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, William Calloway of Camp Hill, AL; two daughters, Cynthia (Earl) Hoyle and Donna (Jesse) Dowdell both of Camp Hill, AL; four grandchildren, Dr. JaCorey (Starlet) Calloway of Montgomery, AL, Latoya Dowdell of San Antonio, TX, DeAmber Hoyle and Cordeisha Thomas both of Camp Hill, AL; seven great-grandchildren, JaDarian Calloway, Za’Kharia Hoyle, Quinton Williams, Skylynn Calloway, Kamryn Hoyle, Trinity Thomas, and Kyleigh Ferguson; two sisters, Emma Tanner Shealy of Charlotte, NC, and Bessie Tanner (Orythus) Burton of Camp Hill, AL; two brothers, Rush Tanner, Jr. of Camp Hill, AL and John Paul Tanner of Roanoke, AL; one aunt, Annie Mae Bickerstaff of Birmingham, AL; God Daughter, Debra Turner; Honorary Daughter, Janice Hart; Special Friend, Louise Floyd; Special Niece, Benita Cox; Special Caregivers, Daphne Golatte, Princess McCowan, Juanita Gunn, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
