Mrs. Sharon B. Chambers, 68 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Chambers will lie in state at the church one-hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, 3:00 p.m. CST at New Mount Sellers Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Terry L. Magby, Pastor, Rev. Eddie L. Story, Officiating, Pastor Calvin Daniel, Eulogist.
Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Chambers leaves cherished memories with her husband, Charlie Chambers, Lafayette AL; two sons: Travis (LaVonte) Chambers, Beulah, AL; Chad (Tiffany) Chambers, Auburn, AL, two daughters; Latisha DeAnn Chambers, Lafayette, AL and Wanda Ellis, Opelika, AL; one stepdaughter; Lisa Pitts, Indiana, Indianapolis, sisters, Patrica Ann Ellis, Annie Pearl (Albert) Spence, and Janice Marie Satterwhite, all of Lafayette, AL, brothers, Wilford (Ruby) Ellis, Lafayette, AL, John Wesley (Angie) Ellis, Lanett, AL, Herbert Ellis, Lafayette, Jimmy Blake and Rickey Blake, both of Opelika, AL; and sister, Jane Blake Hurston, Atlanta, GA, aunts, Josephine Avery and Shirley (Nick) Hughley, uncle, Fletcher (Mary) Carr, all of Lafayette, AL, she leaves to cherish nine grandchildren: Passious Ellis, Maricio & JaMarcus Boler, all of Opelika, AL; Destiney, TK, Mason, Sumer, Saban and Apollo Chambers, four step-grandchildren: Daquan Vaughn, DaShanna Pitts and Marcus Burris, all of Indianapolis, IN and thirteen great-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert (Regina) Chambers, Roy (Nettie) Chambers, Gene (Mae) Chambers, Cassie (Eddie B.) Carlisle, Kenny Chambers and Bobbie McCullough, a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
