Mrs. Velma Henderson, 71 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. CST and on Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, 2:00 PM CST at Wehadkee Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke, AL, Rev. Elijah Jackson, Jr. | Pastor, Rev. Gilbert Staples | Officiating, Rev. Jeffrey Henderson | Eulogist.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Henderson leaves cherished memories with her son, Dexter Henderson, daughter, Cassandra (Bruce) Davis, grandchildren, Yacobian Floyd, Marcellous Floyd, Demarius Stevens, Azorria Higgins, Dustin Henderson, Hunter Henderson, and Hunter Dufrene, great grandchildren, Samara Floyd, Brayden Floyd, Braylee Floyd, Kayden Stevens, Taylon Floyd, Bryce Floyd, and Yahari Floyd, her brother, Grady Stevens (Jonnie Stevens) of Roanoke, AL, her sisters, Farris Jackson (Rev. Elijah Jackson) of Lanett, AL, Peggy Trammell (Ralph) of Roanoke, AL, Sarah Phillips (Willie) of Roanoke, AL, and Ruby Jewel Morgan (Lou) of Sharpsburg, GA, aunts, Ruth Jean Owensby of Ohio and Frances Whatley of Georgia, two sisters-in-law, Mattie Ruth Bell and Deloris Stevens, a host of nieces and nephews.
