Mrs. Virginia Stephens, 65 of Lanett, AL passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at her residence.
Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Stephens will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, 3:00 p.m. EST at Rehoboth Missionary Baptist Church in Valley, AL, Pastor Karanja Story, Officiating / Eulogist.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens leaves cherished memories with her husband, Stanley Stephens of Lanett, Alabama; two daughters, Sabrina Askew of Atlanta, Georgia and Ashley Thomas of Killeen, Texas; one grand-daughter, Paisleigh Thomas of Killeen, Texas; three brothers, Roger (Vanessa) Presley and Evangio (Mae) Presley both of Opelika, Alabama, and Lindsay Brooks of Waverly, Alabama; three sisters, Mattie Bell Echols of Camp Hill, Alabama, Ruby Hughley of Lafayette, Alabama, and Nanette Ware of Cusseta, Alabama; three aunts, Bernice Malone of Mobile, Alabama, Shirley Finley and Doris Brooks both of Lafayette, Alabama; five sisters-in-law, Johnnie Mae Sutton of Lafayette, Alabama, Maxine Stephens of Valley, Alabama, Genie Stephens of Lanett, Alabama, Mary Stephens of Valley, Alabama, and Felicia Stephens of Columbus, Georgia, in-laws, Anthony and Tab Stephens of Valley, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
