Ms. Bettye Jean Billingsley, 73 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at her residence.

Public Visistation will be held on Friday, January 27,2023 from 1:00 until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 28,2023, 1:00 PM CST at Mt.Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Michael Stiggers, Officiating, Reverend Rodney Jones, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Essie J.Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette.

Ms. Billingsley leaves cherished memories with her four sons: Marlon (Donna) Dawson and Chanvis (Chiquita) Billingsley, both of Opelika, AL , Jermaine Darwin and Adrian Billingsley, both of Birmingham, AL; five daughters: Frenda Billingsley of Notasulga, AL , Kiranda Billingsley of Lafayette, AL, Bria Burton of Alexander City, AL, Shantevis Billingsley and Shbresha Billingsley, both of Lafayette, AL; three sisters: Lilly Wright of Lafayette, AL, Mary Ponds of Camphill, AL, and Gloria Story of Lafayette, AL;  two brothers, Freddy (Brenda) Billingsley of Lafayette, AL and James (Christine) Huguley of Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Irene James of Opelika, AL; a special nephew, Calvin Billingsley of LaFayette, AL, special friends: Lisa Brooks, Alexis Ford and Angela Davis; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
