Ms. Debra L. King, 65 of Lanett, AL formerly of LaFayette, AL, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Ms. King will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, 3:00 PM CST at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael Stiggers, Sr., Pastor. Rev. Warren Goss, Eulogist, Rev. Gary Dixon, Officiating.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.

Ms. King is survived by her loving and devoted son, Delvin O’neal Phillips, Valley, Alabama; two grandchildren, Kaniya Phillips, Roanoke, Alabama, Elijah Phillips, Lanett, Alabama; brothers, Charles (Ethel) King, Bobby Phillips, LaFayette, Alabama; sisters, Helen Turner, Hermitage, Tennessee, Shasta Darden, Cusseta, Alabama, Doris Faye (Willie) Brown, Valley, Alabama, Linda Washington, Birmingham, Alabama, Mary Vines, LaFayette, Alabama; brother-in-law, Otis White, Sr., Valley, Alabama; aunt, Eyvonne Martin, LaFayette, Alabama; a special nephew, Phil (Magan) King, Cusseta, Alabama; special nieces, Tiffenie Dozier and Sydnie (Cotton Candy) Hodge, Valley, Alabama a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
