Ms. Eliza Ann “Missy” Jones, 72 passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at East Alabama Medical Center – Opelika.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM EST until 3:00 PM EST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2025, 12:00 PM EST at Zion Rest Baptist Church Heard Center. Reverend Calvin Marshall, Officiating, Reverend Terry L. Magby, Eulogist.

Interment will follow funeral service in Fairfax Cemetery, Valley, AL.

Her memories will forever be cherished by two daughters Minister Shenita Boone of Orlando, FL and Kelsey Jones of Montevallo, AL, two adoptive sons, Dr. Rod Michael Jones of Las Vegas, NV, and Jeremy Jones of Phenix City, AL, two grandsons Kadeem Boone of Slidell, LA and Trey Boone of Orlando FL, one great-granddaughter Ivianna Boone of Orlando, FL sisters Ruby Jones of Valley, AL, Brenda Truitt (Leonard) of West Point, GA, Dorothy Jones of Lanett, AL, Deborah Chambers of Midland, GA, brothers William Jones (Allison) of Lanett, AL, Thomas Houston (Jean) West Point, GA, Rogers Houston (Laverne) of Valley, AL, special friends Charlie Snow, Gloria Davis, Carrie Wilson, Carolyn Shealey, Marlene Magby, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
