Ms. Era Lorene Holloway, 89 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Ms. Holloway will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, 2:00 PM CST at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Gary L. Dixon, Pastor | Eulogist, Rev. George Rampey | Officiating

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette, AL

Ms. Holloway leaves to cherish the beautiful memories of her life, two daughters: Gwennette Ledyard and Shereida Holloway; four sons: Quintion Holloway, Gerry Holloway, Michael Holloway, and Dexter (Robin) Holloway; her sisters: Christine Holloway-best friend, Mary (Alfred) Jennings, Dorothy (Julian) Relf, Isabella Jackson and Cynthia (Dwyane) Fears, brothers: Albert Finley, Jr., James (Margie) Finley, and Walter (Josephine) Finley; sister-in-law, Nell Finley; 16 grandchildren: Shykita, Neshana, Phileepae, Tearia, Bosnic, DePrase, Chassidy, Shemekia, Quindexter, Altavius, Sharashski, KaNiya, Jevondias, Jaucquez, Jairez and Courtney; 3 bonus daughters, Julia McCurdy, Doris Avery,  Magdaline Johnson and Pamela Day; 38 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
