Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020, 12:00 Noon CST at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Wadley, AL, Rev. Douglas Jones, Sr., Eulogist; Rev. Calvin Trammel; Officiating.

Finley of LaFayette, AL, two brothers, Kevin Laney of LaGrange, GA and Terrence (Lauita) Staples of Clearview, FL, two sisters, Valeria (Dante’) Leverette of Valley, AL, Marchelle Pitts of Beauregard, AL, six uncles: Leonard Staples, III, Athan Staples and Lovell (Luenell) Staples, all of Atlanta, GA, David Laney of Roanoke, AL, James (Minnie Pearl) Laney, Abanda, AL and Steve (Vivian) Laney of New Site, AL, six aunts: Betty Staples and Catherine Davenport, both of Atlanta, GA, Estella Ann Giles of Detroit, MI, Rebecca (Henry) Askew of Abanda, AL, Dorothy (Willie) Higgins, Milltown, AL, Nancy J. (Danny) Hardnett, Alexander City, AL, one niece, Malika Atkinson, one special nephew, Justin R.
