Ms. Hattie Mae Briskey, 86 LaFayette (Penton Community), AL, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 2:00 until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 11:00 AM CST at Hopewell Baptist Church in Wadley, AL, Pastor Douglas Jones, Sr., Officiating.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette.

Ms. Hattie M. Briskey memories will forever be cherished by her family, two daughters, Hazel (Calvin) Staples of Roanoke, AL and Faye (Rev. Ed) Vines of LaFayette, AL, three sons, Andrew (Regina) Briskey of Leeds, AL, Thomas (Tandria) Briskey of Saks, AL and Marshall (Angela) Briskey of LaFayette, AL, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a host of special, caring and devoted nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.
