Ms. Hattye Dell Flakes, 97 of Chicago, IL formerly of Lafayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 2:00 PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, 1:00 PM CST at St. John United Methodist Church, Lafayette, AL. Reverend Clifford Spradley, Pastor.

Interment will follow in Finley Cemetery, Lafayette, AL.

She leaves her precious memories to a daughter, Rebecca Mechelle (James) Steels of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, James Monroe Steels and Jonathan Maurice Steels. She also leaves a host of cousins and friends to cherish her memories and remember the love and kindness that she shared with all.
