Ms. Jeanette James, 57 of Lanett, AL passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her residence.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, 1:00 p.m. CST at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in LaFayette, AL, Pastor Cecelia Broome, Officiating.

Ms. James is survived by her two daughters, Jovan James of Valley, AL and Lacretica (Curran) Hale of Opelika, AL, four sons: Ronald O. James, Tay James of LaFayette, AL, Calviet C. James of LaFayette, AL and Otis M. (Candy) James of Valley, AL, her mother, Mary M. James of Boston, MA, two sisters, Stacey Johnson of Boston, MA, and Cassandra James of South Carolina, four brothers: Albert Holloway of Boston, MA, Sean James of New York, Artemus (Letese) James of South Carolina and Joe Reynolds of LaGrange, GA, two stepsons, Dameon Story and Chavis Story of Valley, AL, 19 grandchildren, one grandchild whom she raised, Shamil James, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
