Ms. Jeannette Drake - Morgan

Ms. Jeannette Drake Morgan, 69 of Columbus, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at River Towne Care and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, GA.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 2:00 until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023, 2:00 PM CST at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke (Welch Community),  AL, Pastor Calvin Trammell, Eulogist, Rev. Antonio Oliver, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Morgan is survived by one daughter, Kendra Renee Morgan Lucas, and one son, Calvin Antwoine Morgan, both of Columbus, GA, her grandchildren, Trinten Anthony Morgan and Scotty Lee Lucas, Jr. both of Columbus, GA, four brothers: Paul Drake of Roanoke, AL, Vandy (Karen) Drake of Clarksville, TN, Allen (Helen) Higgins of Roanoke, AL, and Patrick Higgins (Amy) of LaGrange, GA, eight sisters: Betty (Hubert) Patterson, and her twin sister, Annette Watts, both of Roanoke, AL, Maggie (George) James of Five Points, AL, Elizabeth (Larry) Finley of Wadley, AL, Gertrude Adamson of Roanoke, AL, Phyllis (George) Henry of Clarksville, TN, Paula (Jacob) Allen of Ford, NJ, and Beverly (David) Sutton of Frazer, MI, special friends: Jerry Hall, Gloria Murphy, and Theresa Jones, all of Columbus, GA, one sister-in-law, Margaret Higgins, one brother-in-law, Willie Frank Houston, one aunt, Annette Oliver, special cousins, William (Jewell) Oliver and Frances Drake, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
