Ms. Linda James Wright, 70 of Lanett, AL passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 3:00 PM CST until 5:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.

Ms. Wright will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 1:00 PM CST at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Lafayette, AL. Reverend Michael Stiggers, Pastor; Reverend George Rampey, Officiating; Minister Bobbie Ogletree, Eulogist.

Interment will follow funeral service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lanett, AL.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children, Anquanette (Norman) Carlisle of Lanett, AL, and Melissa Callaway of Valley, AL, her brothers, Lenard (Minnie) James of Birmingham, AL, David (Tina) James of LaFayette, AL, Randy James of LaFayette, AL, Gary (Princess) James of Birmingham, AL, her sisters, Ruby Mae Todd of LaFayette, AL, Sherry Porter of Lanett, AL and Jackie (Tommy) Avery of West Point, GA, special sisters, Charlotte Taylor and Loretta Tolbert, her grandchildren, Randall (Shameka) Mackey, Shirmiracle Mackey, Ja Ja Davis, Jr., Felissa Willims, Braylon Walton, and Cason Callaway,  14 great grandchildren, two special nephews, Corey (Mary) Bledsoe and Terrance (Monica) Bledsoe, special caretakers, Brenda Meadows, Annette Busby, Conswallo McCoy, Jacqueline Carr, and Malasha Jennings, special friends, Linda Brown, Jackie Ferrell, Ramona Glaze, Katrina Ray, M. J. Burton, Phyllis Smith, Kathy Avery, Tony & Regina Avery, Danny & Rachel Howell, Sylvia Jones, Amanda Toles, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
