Ms. Lula Culpepper, 66 of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Piedmont Columbus Medical Center, Columbus, GA.
Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM CST until 5:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL.
Ms. Culpepper will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, 2:00 PM EST at St. James Baptist Church, Lanett, Alabama. Reverend Timothy Huguley, Officiating. Pastor John Flournoy, Eulogist.
Interment will follow funeral service in Pine Hill Cemetery, Lanett, Alabama.
The well written story of Lula's life will always be narrated by her loyal companion, Mr. Tony White of Valley, AL; two diligent daughters, Mrs. Natasha White (Robert) of Valley, AL and Ms. LaShaunda Jenkins of Phenix City, AL. The heartbeats of her life were her grandchildren: Robert Jr., Teonquavious, Marcus, Makayla, DeAndre, and Gabriel. Lula was blessed to share her life with her siblings: Mr. Arthur (Gloria) Culpepper, Mr. Nathaniel Culpepper of Camp Hill, AL., Mr. Courtney Williams, Mr. Robert Williams Jr., and Don Miles of Opelika, AL. Lula was always surrounded by her in-laws, nieces, nephews, other special relatives, and friends.
