Ms. Mary Virginia Pearson Oberkor, 66 of Dadeville, AL passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at her home.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Funeral Services wil be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, 1:00 p.m. CST at Murray Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Camp Hill, AL, Rev. Susie Tatum, Pastor; Rev. George Pulliam, Officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemtery in Camp Hill, AL.
Ms. Oberkor leaves cherished memories with her daughters, Lakisia Pearson of Dadeville, AL and Monalesia (Eric) Burke of Opelika, AL, a special friend, Timothy Black of Camp Hill, AL, grandchildren: Aravion (Adrain) Pearson of Alexander City, AL and Quentavias (Emily) Pearson of Dadeville, AL, ZaCoby Pearson of Opelika, AL, and Cajari Pearson of Opelika, AL, five sisters: Judy Pearson of Camp Hill, AL, Sonja Pearson of Camp Hill, AL, Monica (Horace) Mackey of Camp Hill, AL, Mary (James) Lewis of Durham, North Carolina, and Deloris (James) Thomas of Union Springs, AL, one brother, Dewayne (Vanessa) Woodard of Fairburn, Georgia, one aunt, Patricia Colbert of Columbus, GA, two sister/friends, Tammie Brooks of Jackson Gap, AL and Eva Culpepper of Alexander City, AL, great grandchildren: Camari Pearson, Kyla Pearson, Ja’Siyah Pearson, Saffron Morgan, and Zamira Pearson, nieces/grandchildren: Dr. Shasonjia Pearson, Orell Pearson, Renada Pearson, Precious Pearson, Zepora (Jimmy) Pearson-Matamoros, Moniqua Mackey, Amauri Cleveland, and Jalia Pearson. nephews/grandchildren: Onterio (Robin) Pearson and Javonte’ (Latisha) Pearson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
