Ms. Nakesha T. Brooks, 50 of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Bethany House in Auburn, AL.

Public Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. EST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Ms. Brooks will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 2:00 p.m. EST at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Valley, AL, Pastor Karanja Story, Officiating; Pastor Sabrina Davidson, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Brooks leaves cherished memories with her three sons, Ambroski Moody (Rebecka), Keshoin Moody and Marquez Rush, her loving and devoted mother, Debora Brooks-Roberts (Otis), her grandchildren, Kinley Moody and Ayden Moody, aunts and uncles: Brenda (Marvin) McCulloh, Priscilla Holloway and Henry Brooks, Jr. (Annette), her loving sisters: Taranesha Brooks, Richanda Allen-Moss (Reginald), and Natasha Houston, loving nieces and nephews: LaQuavious Robinson (San), LaQuasia Dunn (RaKesh), Kenjadae Dunn, Diontez Dunn (Jetta), Xzavier Dunn, Terriona Flournoy, Eliyah Moss, Reginald Moss, Jr., Candra, Chelsea, and Cayla Winston, Tiara Houston-Trammell, and Terra Houston-Taylor, special friends, Keisha Hixon and Joy Robinson, a host of cousins and friends.
