Ms. Shaneka L. Zachery, 29 of Lanett, AL passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at EAMC-Lanier in Valley, AL.
Public Visitation will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. CST until 6:00 p.m. CST, at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, 1:00 p.m. CST, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Michael T. Stiggers, Sr., Pastor, Pastor Cecelia Broome, Officiating, and Pastor Bruce O. Alford, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.
Shaneka is survived by her fiancé Jeremy Washington; their two children, Jaylen and Jayla Washington; mother, Phenetia (Leon) Marion; father, Silas (LaRhonda) Zachery Jr.; one sister, Vashon La-Tres Wallace; one step-sister Arialle Bledsoe; one step-brother, JeKivion Silmon; three nieces, Kamryn Wallace, Caisley Bledsoe, and Kansas Silmon; two nephews, Aason Atkinson and Brayden Silmon; paternal grandfather, Silas (Tracie) Zachery Sr.; her favorite cousins, Sarika Clark, Shantel (Keemo) Clark, Bryan Copeland, and Christopher Perry; childhood friends, Frank Floyd and Cameron Toles; special friends, Gabriel Atkinson (Southern Union), Ms. Stephanie and Mr. Tommy (GAPS), Zondrea “MoMo” Patten (Mando America), Kim Coker (Valley Park Manor); and an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
