Ms. Virginia Murray, 81 of Huntsville, AL, formerly of LaFayette, AL, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, 12:00 PM CST at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Reverend Dr. Melvin Owens, Pastor | Officiating Eulogist.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.

Ms. Murray leaves cherished memories with her daughter, Jeanetta (Frederick) Holloway, her granddaughter, Courtney Andrea Whitlow, three great-grandchildren, Taylor Makenzie Whitlow, Tayden Andrez Woodard and Tayvien Malik Woodard, five sisters-in-law, Lucille (Jack) Dallas, Sandra Harmon, Nell Postell, Eloise Harrington and Betty Dallas, one brother-in-law, Bobby (Leann) Whitlow, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, a great-great nephew, and friends whom she loved dearly and who loved her in return.
