Pastor Carolyn James Jones, 64 of Smyrna, GA, formerly of LaFayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. CST and Friday, October 3, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, 2:30 PM CST at Friendship Baptist Church #2 in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Curtis Spidell | Pastor, Bishop Farris Long | Officiating.

Pastor Jones leaves to cherish her memory three children: Antonio Bailey (LaKimberly), Brint Bailey and Corliss Jones, sister, Loretta Barker, uncle,  George James, aunt, Mae McCoy, thirteen grandchildren, Antonious Bailey, Antointette Edwards, Brin’Quarvious Bailey, Brint Bailey, Demekos Barkley II, Demarcus Bailey, JauCarolyn Bailey, Keontez Jones, Keron Jones Jr., Lakimdrea Vines, Antonio Daniels, Jeremiah Jackson and Emmanuel Hines,  ten great-grandchildren; nieces: Lakesia Barker, Eusherla Barker-Pitts; Nephew- Oliver Barker Jr., bonus mom, Hattie Mathews, spiritual sisters, Anne Baines and Angela Mathews, bonus daughters, Svelba Maple, LaShonda Easley, daughter-in-law, LaKimberly Bailey, and a host of other family and friends.
