Mr. Johnny Taylor, Sr. 66 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 1:00 p.m. CST at Antioch Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Calvin Marshall, Pastor; Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories to two sons, Johnny Taylor, Jr of Montgomery, AL and Travis Brewer of Phenix City, AL, Jamal Patterson, whom he raised as a son, two goddaughters, Helen Black and Tanisha Cammon, of LaFayette, AL, a special part of his life, Shirley Sims, six sisters: Christina (Vonroyce) Trimble of Opelika, AL, Dorothy Holloway, Johnnie Mae (Richard) Ware, Minnie Holloway (James Woody), Willie Mae Thomas, Mattie (J.C.) Woody, all of LaFayette, AL, four brothers: Dennis (Diane) Holloway, Clanton Holloway (Elizabeth Forman), Jeffery Holloway (Theresa Bonner) and Billy (Christine) Holloway, all of LaFayette, AL, a very special aunt, Mary Julia Page of Atlanta, GA, a special cousin, Carolyn (Jerry) Turner, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four special friends, Jimmy McCoy, Randy James, Scottie Hill and Frank Meadows, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
