Mr. Eddie B. Summers, 69 of Valley, AL passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM EST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mr. Summers will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, 2:00 PM EST at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Valley, AL, Pastor Corey Huguley, Officiating, Rev. Frankie Hutchinson, Eulogist.

Mr. Summers is survived by two sons, Eddie D. Summers of Valley, AL and Jason Summers of Houghton, Michigan, five daughters: Askeshia (Jerry) Summers, Shemaka (Christopher) Ware, April (Lamicheal) Hutchinson, all of Valley, AL, Takara (Quinton) Vaughn of Lanett, AL and Rebekah Madden of Columbus, GA, one bonus daughter, Tymeshia Madden of Valley, AL, two brothers, Perry (Monquie) Summers and Charles Summers, both of Valley, AL, twelve grandchildren: Deonta, Kenesha (Kevan) Barrett, Quadravious, Lamicheal, Antanesha, Edtrantavious, Kendall, Marterrious, Marquavious, Martez, Eza, Abella and Nasir, three great-grandchildren, Kaisen, Zion and Iris, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, three special friends, Keith Griffen, Larry Harper and Willie Clyde Floyd.
