Mr. George Edward Finley, 66 of Lanett, AL passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mr. Finley will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, 1:00 PM CST at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Pastor Terrence Holloway, Officiating, Reverend Calvin Marshall, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Finley leaves cherished memories with his children, Antwanis Mandray Finley of LaFayette, AL, Dakenia Sharadae Finley of Valley, AL and a special daughter, Takeitha Ray, a granddaughter, Raina Finley, five brothers: Larry “Bill” Finley of Cincinnati, OH, Gary (Judy) Finley of Valley, AL, Floyd (Tammlar) Finley of LaFayette, AL, Demone (Sheryl) Finley of LaFayette, AL and Dexter Bulger of Pell City, AL, sisters: Charolette Cosby of Cincinnati, OH, Geraldine Merchant of Cincinnati, OH, Ruth Blakes of Huntsville, TX, Sylvia Jones of Lanett, AL, Jacqueline Finley of Calera, AL, Lisa (Walter) Brooks of LaFayette, AL, LaNora Finley of Lanett, AL, Kemberly Pittman of LaFayette, AL, Amber Finley of LaFayette, AL, Concheita Finley of Lanett, AL, and Tadeshia Carr of Lanett, AL, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
