Mr. Jessie Lee Hardnett, Sr., 75 of LaFayette, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. CST, at Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, Alabama, Rev. Ed Vines, Officiating.

Public Visitation for Mr. Hardnett, Sr. will be on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. CST, at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, Alabama.

Mr. Hardnett, Sr. leaves his loving memories to a devoted wife, Barbara Nell Hardnett; one daughter, Earline (Anthony) Finley of College Park, Georgia, one son, Jessie Lee Hardnett, Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama; five grandchildren: Valencia Zetia Hardnett of LaGrange, Georgia, Darian Bass of Enterprise, Alabama, Jaquan Monte Powell of LaFayette, Alabama, Jeremy Charod Hardnett of LaFayette, Alabama and Shuntavia Alyce Finley of College Park, Georgia; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and one living aunt on his mother’s side, Hattie Mae Briskey.
