Mr. Michael Roy Drake

Mr. Michael R. Drake, 64 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1,2023, from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023, 1:00 PM CST at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke (Welch Community), AL, Pastor Calvin Trammell, Eulogist, Reverend Tony Oliver, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Drake is survived by three sons, Bryant Trammell and Chadwick Trammell, both of Atlanta, GA, Damian Paige of Valley, AL, one daughter, Shymia Paige of Welch, AL, one grandchild, Aurora Paige of Valley, AL, four brothers: Paul Drake, Jr. of Roanoke, AL, Vandy (Karen) Drake of Clarksville, TN, Allen (Helen) Higgins of Roanoke, AL, and Patrick (Amy) Higgins of LaGrange, GA, nine sisters: Betty (Hubert) Patterson of Roanoke, AL, Annette Watts of Roanoke, AL, Jeanette Morgan of Columbus, GA, Maggie (George) James of Five Points, AL, Elizabeth (Larry) Finley of Wadley, AL, Gertrude Adamson of Roanoke, AL, Phyllis (George) Henry of Clarksville, TN, Paula (Jacob) Allen of Ford, New Jersey, and Beverly (David) Sutton of Fraser, Michigan, one brother-in-law, Willie Frank Houston of Roanoke, AL, one sister-in-law, Margaret Higgins of Temple, GA, a special aunt, Annette Oliver of Five Points, AL, a special friend, Patricia Allen of Roanoke, AL, a special cousin, Renee Finley of Roanoke, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving friends.
