Mr. Solomon James, 86 of LaGrange, GA passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at his home.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020, 2:00 p.m. EST in Evening Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Lanett, AL, Rev. Elijah Jackson, Jr.; Officiating.

Mr. James leaves cherished memories with his wife, Katherine James, two daughters, Theresa (Horace) Gilliam of West Point, GA and Brenda Sterling of LaGrange, GA, two sons, Mickey James and William “Corey” Washington, both of LaGrange, GA, his grandchildren: Andre Gilliam, Sr. of West Point, GA, Desmond Gilliam (Kimberly) of Catula, GA, Coranzo Sterling, Keyetta (Melvin) Hardy and Demetrius Billingslea, all of LaGrange, GA, nine great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, sisters-in-law, Johnnie (Roger) Jackson, Daisy (James) Daniel, Willie Dell Carter and Mary James, brothers-in-law, Eddie Carter and William A. Carter, dedicated neighbors, Kenneth and Alfreda Paige, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
