Mrs. Linda Fay Ware Ford, 63 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Mrs. Ford will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, 12:00 PM CST at Galilee Baptist Church in Opelika, AL, Pastor Rodney Jones, Eulogist, Rev. Dr. JaCorey Calloway, Officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lafayette.

Mrs. Ford leaves to cherish her fond loving memory her devoted children whom she loved dearly: Shinetta Ware, Keith Ware, Marcus Ware, and April Ford. Her unwavering generosity will be remembered by her four grandchildren: Aquavia Todd, Zaveion Ware, Alenthia Ware, D’Kenzi Huguley, and her husband Anthony Ford. Special nieces/God children: LaConya (Chris) Brooks, NaQuata Ware, and Janika Ford; god grandchildren, Shatequa Caldwell, Shaniya Sullivan, NaKayla Woody, Me’Kevion Shealey, JaKaila Peterson, Teliya Sullivan, AconDre’ Boyd, D’Karia Burton, and Kanen Heard; One sister, Lizzie Ware and two brothers, Richard (Johnnie Mae) Ware and Johnnie Lee Ware; Brothers-in-law, Stanley (Mary) Chislom, Richard (Deborah) Ford Jr, and Courtney Whitlow, sisters-in-law, Sara (Henry) Turner and Doletha Farrow. Aunts, Wyvonia Reese, Ruby Evans, Dot Russell, Lizzie Dell Allen, a special aunt, Faye Seroyer and a special uncle, Perry Torbert. Special friends, Ceola Ware, Peggy Thomas, and Cecelia Brooks; Caregivers, Aaron Ware, Brenda Jackson and Diann Vines; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
