Rev. Lester James Lewis, 88, of Camphill, AL passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021, 1:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Thomas Calloway, Officiating and Rev. Anthony Lewis, Eulogist.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, two children: Johnnie (Carolyn) Lewis and Bernita (Tyrone) Herron both of Camphill, AL, two stepdaughters: Valerie Ann Ali of Miami, FL and Marie Cheek of Buffalo, NY, three step-sons: Melton Cheek, Kevin Cheek both of Buffalo NY, and James (Tisa) Pass of Gainesville, GA, a devoted grandson whom he reared as his own, Terrance Cheek, a very special cousin, Doris Spencer, three brothers: Eddie Lewis, Bob Lewis both of Buffalo, NY, and Curtis (Marie) Lewis of Enterprise, AL, one sister, Lorine Jackson of Opelika, AL, one daughter-in-law, Shirley Lewis, and a host loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
